Lusitanos are even-tempered animals who readily form bonds with human beings. Lusitanos are a Portuguese breed of horse, which is closely related to Andalusians and Berbers. They are very popular on account of their versatility, which means they are suited for a wide range of racing sports. The Romans named the Lusitano after Lusitania, the old Latin word for Portugal.
