Schleich 14633 Peregrine Falcon.
When swooping down on their prey Peregrine falcons can easily reach speeds of 200 km/h making them one of the fastest animals on earth. Peregrine falcons are the most widespread type of birds of prey. They are found on every continent on earth except for Antarctica. Even in urban areas they are now finding artificial breeding cliffs. Peregrine falcons are highly specialised bird hunters catching their prey right in the air with spectacular manoeuvres.
